DGM HQ.
Alex and Buddy the Wonder Dog are in. Both preparing coffee in the DGM Kitchen, now setting off to our respective Chambers with Mr. Stormy to DGM SoundWorld II and today’s archiving opportunities, myself to the Chamber of Venality.
Morning reading…

10.52 The recent pix of early MS generated more interest than UMG dissension. Hooray! for that and quite right. The MS are part of a creative history. UMG belongs to another accounting, another reckoning in the kind of contribution we make to the world.
Hugh wants an original MS of LTIA II for The Box Set Which Contents Test The Notion Of Infinity. But I can’t find it in the manuscript books I have here, although there are other MS at World HQ in Bredonborough. However, I have found an early “Mantra”, used by KC69 to begin the improv leading to Mars; and re-purposed (if that is the right term) as the mellotron intro to Exiles. This justifies inclusion in the LTIA Box Set Of Non-Endingness And Continuing Assemblage. Perhaps, The Transfinite Box Set? The fourth line down, with different chord changes to the version/s played…
Continuing on through the MS, the piano part for the Allegro at the end of Suite No. 1 on GG&F (1968) …
Early Schizoid idea, c. end 1968 – early 1969 I…

From an MS c. 1973, Underground Train aka Dr. D I…

From 1973-74, notes for Blue, the unused piece that provided the intro theme for Red, with Guitar and Violin interlude at the top of the page… II...
In an MS from 1974, are various notes for Red. On the left page, under the heading “Dr. Kildare”, is my mellotron part over the D pedal in JW’s bass…
… and under the yearning statement motif, the saddest melody in Crimson music?
On page right, is the middle section to Red, double stops on guitar and string basses underneath…
11.14 Data whirring away as the new organizing system continues. Mr. Stormy has put his head into the door to relate progress on the Frippertronics set being prepared for DGM download.
16.48 David returned c. 15.30 from the offices of IE Management in London, with points of seeing and a sense of the creative future for The Vicar and matters DGM. Very exciting…
I am invited into the DGM Art Department II where Ben Singleton…
… shows some Vicar Drummer Jokes I…

18.07 An afternoon of stuff.
Now, watching the honourable work of The Guitar Ensemble Of Moscow – Live 22.07.2012 Part Three c. 2’ 23’’ Eye Of The Needle, tears began to flow. How is this? What is it in this performance and music that speaks to a place right in the centre of my breast? Perhaps, it speaks to what is possible, yet so far, from what I am.
19.10 David has left…
… with his points of seeing from today continuing to resonate.
The beginning of the beginning, perhaps.
An evening computing ahead.
