The Powers That Be
Today at the Vicarage
Hmmm. Not much in my belovedTimes App to stimulate the grey cells today (assuming they are grey) :
Who did and who did not know what about Jimmy Savile at the BBC?
Which of Obama and Romney will be least unpersuasive at the next Presidential debate?
Which of David Cameron and Ed Milliband is least unable to run the country?
If ever "the powers that be" really were, they are no longer. Like the period between the Great Wars, when the upper classes appeared to continue exactly as before, while in truth they were just cardboard cutouts of their former selves. Time to move on. Let’s hear it for the power of the many!
Provided of course that none of them are drummers.
